Created during my time in care, Breath of a Broken World reflects the tension I felt between the vast beauty of the universe and the polluted, fractured world I was living in. The skull-shaped earth represents both fragility and decay, while the breath pouring from its mouth is a release — a purge of the toxins, pain, and heaviness I couldn’t control.
This piece is my way of cleansing that darkness and transforming it into something meaningful through art.
